Saint-Malo is a fortified city located in Brittany, in northwestern France on the English Channel. It became notorious as the home of the corsairs, French privateers and sometimes pirates, and is the setting for the recently published and bestselling historical novel 'All the light we cannot see' by the American author, Anthony Doerr. This historic and maritime great city is an acclaimed regional scenic area, tourist destination, and event hotspot. As in every French self-respecting city bordered by the sea, Saint-Malo also offers gastronomic delights.
