Oral presentations
All presentations should use PowerPoint software. Presenters must bring their presentation material on a memory stick which will be uploaded on site. Presentations should be handed in to the secretariat the day before the scheduled presentation. Fifteen minutes is allotted for each presentation, with additional 2-3 minutes for questions. Symposium organizers will be strict in keeping presenters within this time limit. Please do not exceed the allocated time.

As a recommendation, make a brief introduction to your problem; state the objectives of your work, the main results, and the conclusions. Allow a minimum of 1 minute per slide. Ensure that your visual aids can be viewed clearly from a distance of at least 20m. Arrive at the meeting room at the beginning of your session and contact the session chair or Symposium staff for any last-minute instructions.

Poster presentations
Posters will be organized by the theme of their corresponding oral session. Each poster will be assigned a number and location that will correspond to a map located in the conference program. Please plan to mount your poster on your assigned board the day before the poster session. Presenters are expected to be at their posters during the specific assigned period.

Dimensions: Each poster should not exceed the maximum dimensions of 96 x 120 cm (wide x height); and should be read from 2 m away. Format and Content Recommendations: Keep your poster simple; provide a clear 'take-home' message. Sections to be included: Title, Authors, Affiliation, Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions, Short References, Acknowledgments. Use direct and simple sentences.

Presenters can provide further details in discussions with attendees and by providing supplemental information while presenting the poster (e.g. reduced copies of the poster, business cards, printed abstracts, etc.).
